Aarrow Ecoburn Plus 5 Baffle/Throat Plate - AFS3380

The Aarrow Ecoburn Plus 5 Baffle/Throat plate is a high quality genuine steel plate that sits at the roof of the stove and provides protection to the roof of the stove to avoid damage to the flue.  The Ecoburn Plus 5 baffle plate slows down the flames within the stove to ensure more heat stays within the fire box before any heat travels up the chimney and ensures high efficiency.

Please note: There has been a few variations of the Ecoburn Plus 5 stove over the years.  Please check your manual for the part number to ensure it matches.  If the manual is unavailable please check your data plate attached to the stove.  If at the end of the Model number shows like this "ECB5FPLUS, ECB5FPLUS-G2" then this is NOT the correct baffle.  Please order AFS2675

If your Model number looks like this "ECB5FPLUS-G2A or ECB5FPLUS-G2B" then this is the correct baffle.

Fire Brick Warranty Information:

Please note that due to the very nature of firebricks there are no warranties provided by the manufacturers.  Fire bricks are excluded from any warranties in the same way as car brake pads would be due to the many variances that can cause these parts to deteriorate.

When used correctly and carefully fire bricks can last 12 months and sometimes even longer. Please note that using the fire only a few times before the brick cracks does not mean that the brick is faulty as it may have absorbed moisture, a log may have moved during firing and hit the brick or simply been overfired.  Bricks can still be used if cracked.  As long as the crack is not over 6mm wide (Pound coin) then it will still insulate in the same way.
