I needed a top baffle for an Aga Little Wenlock Classic. Our stove practically runs 24/7 from October through 'til April, on mostly ash and maple. The original baffle lasted 7 years and had burnt through. I have never removed it as I sweep our flue from the top down and I found removal impossible as the baffle had badly distorted; the side were no longer parallel and it was jammed in position. The new baffle was a genuine Aga part and fitted without any difficulty. I must say that Dean, at Stove Spares, was most helpful and sent me a YouTube link which demonstrated how the baffle should be removed. However, I had to eventually resort to cutting it in two with an angle grinder fitted with a cutting disc - it was the only way! I am assuming that the replacement baffle will also distort over time so I will remove it from time to time to monitor its shape. Happy to shop at Stove Spares again some time soon.
