Installation Instructions:

Installing the Charnwood Country 4 hinge pin set is extremely easy and can be completed in around 5 minutes.

  • Remove existing hinge pins by grasping the stove door firmly and slowly wriggle the door as you lift.
  • Once the door has lifed away from the body the pins will easily come out of the door.
  • Once removed simply put the new hinge pins into the stove door and carefully lift the door and hover the door over the Hinge posts and carefully try to line up the pins with the holes in the door hinge post.
  • Once the pins line up you can gently wriggle the door again and the pins should push into the posts.

Fire Brick Warranty Information:

Please note that due to the very nature of firebricks there are no warranties provided by the manufacturers.  Fire bricks are excluded from any warranties in the same way as car brake pads would be due to the many variances that can cause these parts to deteriorate.

When used correctly and carefully fire bricks can last 12 months and sometimes even longer. Please note that using the fire only a few times before the brick cracks does not mean that the brick is faulty as it may have absorbed moisture, a log may have moved during firing and hit the brick or simply been overfired.  Bricks can still be used if cracked.  As long as the crack is not over 6mm wide (Pound coin) then it will still insulate in the same way.
