Stove Pro™ Universal 125mm Stove Pipe Flue Access/Soot Door

The Stove Pro™ Universal 125mm (5") Stove Pipe Flue Access/Soot Door has been designed and manufactured to the highest standard and is manufactured using 0.8mm thick British stainless Steel.

Using a good quality stainless steel will ensure that the access soot door will not only look great but it will also offer the flexibility in the steel to ensure a perfect fit around the stove pipe to ensure everything is sealed up as it needs to be.

Our Soot door cover is supplied with a high quality ceramic fiber paper (3mm) which can withstand upto 1250 °C.

Installation instructions:

The Soot door is easy to install and can be fitted with 1-2 minutes.

■ Wrap the soot door around the area to be covered.

■ Once in place simply pinch the 2 wings together and attach the wing nut.

■ Continue to turn until your happy that there is enough pressure between the pipe and the padded area of the soot door.

■ Once a seal has been achieved and your happy with the seal achieved we recommend doing a smoke test just to confirm.

■ To inspect at a later date turn the tightening block until the soot access door loosens and remove the door.

■ Inspect Ceramic paper for damage due to use and replace if necessary.

Fire Brick Warranty Information:

Please note that due to the very nature of firebricks there are no warranties provided by the manufacturers.  Fire bricks are excluded from any warranties in the same way as car brake pads would be due to the many variances that can cause these parts to deteriorate.

When used correctly and carefully fire bricks can last 12 months and sometimes even longer. Please note that using the fire only a few times before the brick cracks does not mean that the brick is faulty as it may have absorbed moisture, a log may have moved during firing and hit the brick or simply been overfired.  Bricks can still be used if cracked.  As long as the crack is not over 6mm wide (Pound coin) then it will still insulate in the same way.
