Ive never used Vermiculite in my stove before so was unsure if it was going to be just another cheap material that would be of no use.
Having done my research it appears vermiculite is a far better material and all the major manufacturers seem to use them. They are so much lighter to work with and easier to install and the bricks were identical in every way. Even the angled part on top was the same shape.
Much cheaper than clay and I find there is more heat being pushed out from the glass.
