Hot Mitt Stove Glove

Stove Hot Mitt ® - Heat Resistant Glove

Our latest product to be launched is the Hot Mit ®. The Hot Mitt ® is an extremely high quality glove that can withstand temperatures of up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit making one of the highest quality heat gloves on the market today.

Made from a specialist weave of Kevlar and Nomex and finished with heat proof silicone for grip the Hot Mitt is great for opening the door of your stove or for emptying the ash pan or any other associated job that involves heat.

Our glove has a conductive Heat Resistant Level 4 rating which means it can withstand temperatures of up to 500 F (260 C) for at least 4 seconds.  This means that should the item your touching be too hot you will get sufficient warming before burns are inflicted.  This is called "The Warning Time"  Thanks to its class 4 rating this also means that it could maintain a max temp of 500F (260 C) for 15 seconds before a Secondary degree burn was caused.  Therefore you have sufficient time to remove your hand or remove the glove.  Many gloves on the market are Class 2.

Our glove can you used on either hand and is designed to be extremely flexible unlike traditional leather gauntlet gloves.

All Hot Mitts are machine washable and if maintained can last a long time.

Sold Individually as its Ambidextrous.

What is it made from?

Our extremely high quality Hot Mitt ® is manufactured from the very best materials available.

Most famously known for being used in bullet proof vests, Kevlar is also used to strengthen tyres and racing sails. One of its other uses is its resistance to heat for short periods of time. When woven together it creates a strong weave that is tear resistant and heat resistant.

Nomex is flame resistant so when combined with Kevlar offers the perfect material for use when using for picking up hot items and can be especially effective when using with BBQ's.

High quality thick layer of cotton is applied on the internal of the glove to provide a comfortable and soft additional layer.

Fire Brick Warranty (if applicable)

Fire Brick Warranty Information:

Please note that due to the very nature of firebricks there are no warranties provided by the manufacturers.  Fire bricks are excluded from any warranties in the same way as car brake pads would be due to the many variances that can cause these parts to deteriorate.

When used correctly and carefully fire bricks can last 12 months and sometimes even longer. Please note that using the fire only a few times before the brick cracks does not mean that the brick is faulty as it may have absorbed moisture, a log may have moved during firing and hit the brick or simply been overfired.  Bricks can still be used if cracked.  As long as the crack is not over 6mm wide (Pound coin) then it will still insulate in the same way.

By placing an order for firebricks you accept these conditions.
